Vygon reduces carbon footprint with solar Carport

Taking advantage of the outdoor parking space at its facilities in Baltar, the company chose to implement a photovoltaic plant for self-consumption, in partnership with Helexia.

This plant has a power of 354 kWp and will produce 500 MWh of energy per year for use in its production process. This project allows them to significantly reduce their energy bill costs, as well as avoid the emission of 235 tons of CO2 per year.

Vygon with solar self-consumption for factory and corporate fleet

This project developed with Vygon has the particularity of being an integrated project: solar self-consumption and electric charging for the company's fleet.

Integrated into Carport Solar are 10 chargers for electric vehicles. The green energy produced is used both to power the factory's production processes and to charge the electric vehicles in the fleet.

The Solar Carport is an excellent option as it offers protection to vehicles parked in the car park. This way they are protected from the sun and other weather conditions, while clean and renewable energy is produced.
