900 photovoltaic solar panels on the new Leroy Merlin store in Alta de Lisboa
The Leroy Merlin store located in Alta de Lisboa is the first large-scale Leroy Merlin store in the Lisbon area. In this store of the future, energetic sustainability is part of the present. The ongoing energy transition partnership that Leroy Merlin has with Helexia has allowed for the placement on the roof of this building of about 900 photovoltaic solar panels producing 618 MWh of clean and renewable energy, avoiding annually about 290 tons of CO2, equivalent to planting 7400 trees per year.
This store offers more than 27,000 products and has more than 85 services available. It is a multi-concept store, offering small, medium and large commercial spaces, complementary to each other and supported by the online channel. It also offers a Click & Drive locker service, which allows customers to pick up their orders over the internet.
Benefits
João Lavos
Helexia has been and will be our partner in the energy transition of our buildings, because for us it makes sense to start with our own House. The work we have been doing is a true partnership, based on a very close knowledge of the needs and mutual capabilities of both companies, knowledge that was gained over the time of the relationship.
